Summer is gone already?!?!?

So I can't even remember the last time I posted anything on my blog but here is a quick review of whats been happening. Summer was awesome but I only have a little bit till bedtime to post the last five months so there is going to be a large number of photos with my greatest attempts of commentary. I am working as the office manager of a dental office and trying to finish my degree in accounting. I only have one course left and then I can sit for the CPA....ugh, scares me to death. Anyway, life is busy but we are doing well. We hope to be getting our house in three weeks but we shall see!

I had to add the photos from when Teryk started riding his bike without training wheels. I told him I would make him crepes if he tried and then he finally got the hang of a two wheeler. He rode all summer long and now he has a larger bike so his knees don't hit the handlebars. It's hilarious because he is used to his small bike and presses his pedals so hard, scaring me to death as he takes sharp corners insanely fast. Swift of course had to eat a rolly polly she found; some peoples kids I tell ya. Anyway, Swift and Teryk played outside every minute they possibly could.

The kids and I went to Montana to see my family back in June. I loved it and can't wait to go back! The drive was extremely but luckily Brooke lent me her dual DVD player so Swift and Teryk could watch their own movie. Teryk played a lot with Kaiden and I was finally able to meet Steve's little boy, Sylas. Annie came up for a few days and the kids played with the Nolanator, soon to be big brother in a month! We went to the water park, Giant Springs, and I played racquetball while at the gym on base with my dad who let me with from time to time. I was also able to go on walks with my dad, just like old times, and shop with my mom. I was always her shopping buddy and the only kid who enjoyed purchasing grocery. My mom helped me make Swift a beautiful rag quilt with flower petals and I also nearly finished a jean quilt for picnics and camping. I can't wait to get into our house so Swift can finally use the blanket my mom and I slaved over for days; only two battle wounds from the razor blade! I was going to make Teryk a monster truck quilt but ended up sending it to my mom to help, haha. I am apparently uninspired on my own.

I thought I would post these two photos as we were heading to the train station to meet Thomas the Tank Engine. Of course, my camera's battery died so this is the only photographic evidence I have of the event, pretty pathetic.

The webber clan went to Lake Powell back in May and Brooke and I did some pretty cute hairdos on the girls. I didn't have to comb it once and it stayed out of her face for three days! I have to say that I am not into steaming hot weather and I just wanted to be in the water the entire time. I hate when you are camping and have to sleep on top of the sleeping back to prevent heat exhaustion. I guess I am just used to worrying about layering up at night but this as not the case. Apart from the heat, the lake was fun and you can never go wrong with family and a boat!

I had to add some photos of the Eclipse party this year. I obviously have no life outside of my family since this is my social event of the year, haha. Anyway, I LOVE being with my family so spending time with friends is awesome every once in a while.

Swifty is hilarious and growing up way too fast, even wanting to potty train. I don't know if I am ready for her to be talking and loosing her diapers but it's fun watching her grow. By the way, never tell Swift to smile for a photo because this is what happens......

I was barbecuing outside and slightly distracted until I found this little girl rolling, literally, in a dirt pile. Who would guess a cute little girl is under all that dirt and grime?

Belated Photos of Our Utah Trip

Trent had a mission reunion this past April and we were fortunate enough to make it up to Utah to see his first mission president. I also convinced Annie and Garth to meet us at Midway to stay a few days. We had a ton of fun and I am so glad Annie was able to make the trip. I hadn't seen Nolan since he was tiny little guy and he has gotten so big. Teryk and Swift had a blast swimming and playing in the park.

I love Teryk's three dollar sun glasses! He looks like a stud throwing the frisbee, haha. They are actually useful since Teryk is constantly burning the white part of his eyes.

Nice action shot of Trent. He wasn't covering his face so that was an improvement! We used to play frisbee all the time up at school and I love being able to play with him whenever we get the chance.

I can't believe Trent fit through the slide! I tried to convince him to go again but I guess Swift enjoyed it more than he did.

Here's Trent and I at the park. I think that little guy in the background is Teryk but I'm not sure.

Annie and I used to have a bunch of photos together but it has been forever since the last one! Annie is expecting a little guy or girl on Swift's Birthday, December 2nd.

This boy LOVES his daddy. Trent can do no wrong in Teryk's eyes and they are buds. Their personalities are extremely similar and Teryk always proclaims to be "Daddy's Boy."

Here is Anna-Banana, Garth, and Nolan at the park. I have to say that Garth is hilarious to play card games with and I like to be on his team; only because I want to hurt him when he isn't, lol. Not really but he talks trash in the funniest ways! I wish they lived here so I could get my heart's game on and actually win!

We went swimming at the condo, which only cost $85 for two nights on bonus time- pretty sweet! There were two bedrooms plus a bed for Teryk in the living room. The indoor pool was nice and the buildings were built to look like a little Switzerland. I had never been to Miday so I thought it would be fun to stay there rather than the usual Ogden Canyon area.
Swift is hilarious, always making me laugh. She has the craziest expressions and loves to wear sunglasses, which are already broken. I LOVE that she can swim with floaties because my neck doesn't become scratched up from fingernails. Now the next step is to teach Teryk how to swim without his floaties.

Silly guy! He was actually posing for a whole thirty seconds. Swift is easier to get a picture but Teryk finds it hilarious to run or squint his eyes acquirdly.

Not sure what he is doing with his hands but I'm pretty sure he went to the bathroom right after this picture...

Swimming photos are never too flattering but I thought it was a cute family photo.

Here is our main reason for going to Utah. Trent worked with the mission president while in Argentina and had nothing but amazing things to say about him! He is from Bolivia and rarely comes to the states to visit. I hardly understood any of the conversations, seeming how they were in Spanish, but they were extremely sweet. The above photos were taken at one of their friend's house and they were very nice to let us stop by to visit. We actually got the dates wrong for the mission reunion and had to miss it to get back to church on Sunday. The important thing was to see the President and his wife so the trip was definitely worth it all.

Presenting...Monster Jam World Finals in Vegas!

This year's spring break was amazing and very memorable, especially for my little boy. Teryk has been obsessed with Monster Trucks since he was two and even watches the DVDs. Deb and I have been talking about going to the Monster Jam World Finals for over a year and we finally were able to go. I never thought I would enjoy something like this but it was amazing! I actually want to go every year now but I would never spend the money to go to one in Albuequerque. I hate to drive and only see one Monster Truck that we really like. Go to Vegas and you get the best of the best...Awesome!

I had to start a post with Teryk and his favorite Monster Truck driver, Jim Koehler. We stood in line for a while waiting to meet him and he was extremely nice to Teryk. Teryk is his number one fan and Avenger is considered the greatest motorized vehicle on the planet! The funny thing is that Teryk picked Avenger all on his own and Jim Koehler rarely wins any of the freestyle or races. No matter what, Teryk is confident that Avenger is the winner and no one can steal his thunder.

If only Swifty was looking but at least we have a family picure. Trent is wearing Blue Thunder and I have my Maximum Destruction shirt, our favorites. Swift has yet to find a favorite truck but maybe next year I can buy her a Madussa shirt, seeming how she was the only girl driver in Vegas.

Teryk and Papa have pictures in front of a ton of trucks but here is the famous Avenger, for all of you fellow fans. I am trying to narrow down my picture list but having a hard time choosing.

Perfect group shot, even though I was always taking the pictures, haha. All these photos were taken at the pit party and it was actually open to the public and not limited to those with tickets.

Gravedigger is Deb's favorite and Mark's favorite is El Torro Loco. Even though I am a true Max D fan, Grave Digger is the most popular and has an amazing driver. Deb and I weren't able to meet our favorite drivers since some sort of a special pass was required, lame. Technically Mark and Trent did see their drivers either but we just didn't have good timing.

I love this photo of Deb and Mark. Notice the awesome shirts with their favorite trucks? The timing just happened to work around world finals so I had to get them for their birthday.

Bry, Beth, and the kids met us at the pit party and the kids had fun with the free slides. We also paid $5 for Teryk to ride on the back of a monster truck around a small track.

We finally made it to the greatest portion of this amazingly exciting post, haha...right. Anyway, Bry and Beth were nice enough to watch Swift for the actual event that started at 7pm. It was amazing! All of the trucks came flying out with water and fire shows along with fireworks. The noise was crazy and the crowds were hilarious. The best part was racing, strangely enough. I prefer to watch freestyle on tv but the races were hilarious. All of our favorites, apart form Teryk's Avenger, were in the final four race. My favorite beat Trent's and Deb's beat Mark's; pretty darn awesome! Sadly, mine did not win but at least Deb's favorite got first place. No one did very well in the freestyles but it was still fun to watch trucks flip and crash into cars and boats.

Here is a picture of the track before they crushed the entire thing with monster trucks.

Trent and I sitting at World Finals.

The perfect photo to close this post. Not much else to say but I am definitely coming back :)

Three months of belated posts!

The past few months have been crazy and I have been the worst blogger! I finally found my cord to upload photos and the following represents Christmas and to the present. Sorry for all the photos and little commentary but I don't want to bore everyone (total of 3 people) with my monotonous remarks.

These photos are the most recent and ideal for warm weather hopes. Brooke and I went to Farmington for a taste of spring. The park was perfect with optimal weather and I was able to get great deals at Target for our Vegas trip in two weeks. Spring and summer simplifies children entertainment and Teryk LOVES to ride his bike. Swift can't go outside without eating nasty old snow so I hope it melts fast!

Teryk started wrestling two weeks ago and he has a blast! His first match was in Monticello and I got to go to the temple the night before while Trent took the kids swimming. Trent is coaching and was so patient with Teryk. He only had two weeks of practice and didn't win a single match but still got a medal. He fought to the end and only got pinned once; pretty good for weighing 36 lbs! I try to cheer as if I know what is happening but half the time I make up stuff to sound experienced. He smiles during the entire match and works so hard. I am proud of my little wrestler and hope to learn the terminology before this weekend :).

Trent was helping with a scout fundraiser last month and I had to post the pictures. Teryk was hanging out with cute little Tanna and they were hilarious. Swift has the funniest personallity! I wish I could video all the silly faces and things she babbles. She is a dare devil and climbs on a horse that is meant for bigger kids (she also stands on the top with no hands to see our reaction). My kids are beautiful and I am so blessed to watch each hilarious moment.

The final and most belated portion of this post is Christmas. Teryk got his much hoped for train table (the last one at Sam's club) and I got Swifty a cute little doll house. They were also spoiled at Grammy and Papa's house with all the family's gifts. Papa pulled everyone around on tubes and the kids loved it! Every thing was great and I was excited to finally have a Kitchen Aid (thanks to Deb and Mark). I didn't have to hand beat my crepes anymore!
